Amy Darland, Melissa Ferst and Kary Chendo are three Northern California women who began INTERNATIONALORANGE (IO), a day spa and yoga studio in June of 2002. This San Fransisco treat named itself after the orange vermilion paint of the famous Golden Gate Bridge, and chose a coordinating mission statement of “Be A Bridge To Your Better Side”.
Specializing in a full range of spa services and yoga classes, the 4,200 square foot space also boasts of men’s and women’s stream rooms, a lounge area with its own fireplace, and a gorgeous 700-square-foot redwood sundeck.
